Jesus of Nazareth
People

People are made in the image and likeness of God.

Our character, personality, emotions, and all we are resemble our God.

People are the supreme object of God's creation.

We have the tremendous potential for good but we are marred by selfishness, pride, and an attitude of disobedience.

Sin can separates us from God and causes turmoil in our life.

God
The Holy Spirit
We are Free!

1 Corinthians 13:2

Salvation is God's free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works.

Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty.

We are saved when we turn away from sin and earnestly submit ourselves in faith to Jesus Christ.

Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into one's life by faith.

Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9;

John 14:6, 1:2; Titus 3:5;

Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1, 10:9-10

The Holy Spirit is coequal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make us aware of our need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and moral guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer spiritual gifts when they are saved.

As Christians we seek to live under His control daily.

Salvation

Jesus of Nazareth is Christ and the Son of God. He is coequal with the Father and Holy Spirit.

He lived a sinless life.

He died on the cross to offer Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all who believe in Him.

He arose from the dead after three days, demonstrating His power over death and sin.

He ascended to Heaven and will return to earth again to reign as King.

Eternity

People were created to exist forever.

We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation.

To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life in Heaven.

Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence.

Romans 6:23, 8:17-18;

1 Corinthians 2:7-9; Revelation 20:15

We are nothing without love!

The Holy Bible is the Word of God. It was supernaturally inspired by the Holy Spirit and written by men.

It is the ultimate source of truth for Christian beliefs.

It is inspired by God and without error.
